What animal I would have if I lived 2000 years ago
If I lived 2000 years ago and had to choose between a horse, a cow, and a dozen chickens, I would choose a dozen chickens. The reason is that I can use the chickens for eggs, feathers, and meat. Another reason is that I could trade chicks, after the chickens mated, for money and other necessities. A horse would be useless to have primarily because If I needed the transportation a horse could provide, I could just borrow a horse from one of my neighbors that would let me use it. I wouldn't pick the cow because I wouldn't need that much meat and would be useless after it's dead because it was alone. I could sell the meat but then I would sooner or later run out of money and end up poor. That is why a dozen chickens would be most potent to have 2000 years ago.

I disagree, I find horses to be a lot more useful, especially because of the time era. horses are far superior to chickens much less cows. More horses equal more money. When and if horses make little horses and horses are expensive.
